Cheaper calls, better service, no risk – why changing to a new landline provider isn’t rocket science
If your annual call spend is below £250 then BT typically charges a 2p call set up fee plus 3.5p per minute to make the call, therefore a 30 second call with BT will come to 3.75p. With our provider there are no minimum call charges and no set up fee. Calls are charged per second and rounded to a tenth of a penny – and there is no minimum contract. A similar call with our provider will cost a maximum of 0.7p, a saving of over 81%!

When you realise that probably 40% of your calls are less than 1 minute, that works out at a substantial saving, especially over the course of a year and across multiple lines.

With our provider you also avoid any of the customary “catches” offered by competitors to “bump up” their price. These include additional call set up fees, minimum call fees and rounding up to the nearest 0.5p, minute or whatever.

It is not unusual for us to find a provider charging 4.5p every time a 15 second call is picked up by someone’s answer machine. This would be made up with a 3.5p set up fee and a 1p call fee based on 2p per minute call rate with a minimum 30 second call fee.

A similar call through our provider would typically be less than 0.35p, a massive 92% plus saving as there are no connection fees and no minimum call fees, just per second billing. It is not uncommon for us to be able to generate savings in excess of 30% on call costs alone across a wide range of calls. In addition our provider offers excellent rates to overseas destinations.

Did you know you can change providers easily without any affect on your service?

Many people stick with BT because they fear that another operator would offer a worse service, with lower quality calls and no real protection if something went wrong.

That’s simply not the case.

With our supplier, the underlying provision of your line is still managed by BT Wholesale (BT Openreach) and all the call out and service agreements are the same for BT Retail and our supplier – so there is absolutely no difference in the service you can expect.

What is different is that if you do experience a problem with your line, you call us and you get to speak directly to someone who knows you and can deal with your problem quickly and efficiently.

 
   
No need to dial a prefix number
Thanks to Carrier Pre-selection (CPS) our provider can carry your calls without you having to dial a prefix number, install any special equipment on your premises (e.g. a dialler box) or modify your PBX (private branch exchange).

CPS allows our provider to offer you cheaper calls and line rental through more competitive fibre optic networks whilst retaining your existing numbers and enables you to continue to make calls as usual with no interruption to service. BT makes the necessary changes at the local telephone exchange, inserting unique access codes to route your call traffic automatically.

If you want to change service providers you don’t need to do anything. There’s no cost for changing, you keep the same number and your service will be the same – all you’ll notice is the reduction in the cost of your bills.
   
 
Bills that make sense
We drive our costs down even further by providing all bills in email form only and asking you to sign a direct debit for your monthly payments. Bills are fully itemised, with a useful summary of all the key information.

You can choose monthly or quarterly billing - whichever is more convenient for your business – and for multiple locations we can set up bespoke billing options such as by company, regional or site format. If the type of report you need isn’t available then our provider will work with you to deliver the level of management information you require.

And remember when you see the total, don’t be surprised – it really is that low!
